FAQ’s about Lot Ownership

Are the RV lots “Deeded” land?  Yes, you hold the deed and will be responsible for property taxes.

Can I use my lot year round?  Yes, you can use it 365 days per year if you wish

What is included with my purchase?  Each RV lot has a 20X60 concrete pad, each park model lot has a 12X60 concrete pad.  Every lot has 100 amp power, sewer, water, cable and phone access.  Phone and cable may be turned on in your name after purchase.

What are the on-going costs after I purchase?  POA Dues ($140.00/month) which include sewer, common area maintenance, and trash disposal service, property taxes which are typically $400-$600 annually, your own electric costs, and water usage. (Individual water usage plus a share of the common area water usage)

Is Havasu RV Resort a 55+ resort?  No we are not 55+.  Kids and Grandkids are welcome.

When can I use the clubhouses and other amenities?  During peak season, the pools are open from 9am to 10pm(weather permitting). Both clubhouses are open daily from 8am to 6pm for all guests and owners, after 6 pm you must be an owner or the guest of an owner.  You will receive a key to both clubhouses when you purchase a lot.

How many pets can I have?  2 pets per lot are allowed, no aggressive breeds.

How many vehicles can I have on my lot?  You are allowed one RV and three other vehicles on your lot at a time.  See Architectural Rules for list of approved vehicles.

Can I build a building on my lot?  Yes.  As you look around the resort you will see many “casitas”.  You may add a casita, attached patio and a free standing shade structure, not to exceed 25% of your lot square footage.  Also, Park Models can be pit set on a limited amount of lots in the resort.  See a salesperson for more info.

Can I build a casita myself?  Yes, you may do an “owner build” (some restrictions apply) or hire a contractor, see list of approved contractors in sales office or clubhouse.

What type of RV can I put on my lot?  It depends on the lot.  An approved RV is 25 feet or longer, no more than 10 years old.  Units older than 10 years may be approved after passing a physical inspection. See sales office or clubhouse for lot usage for specific areas in the resort.  Park Models must be new units when brought in, no more than 400 sq ft.

Is there on-site Security?  Our property is fully fenced with emergency gates and dog/walking gates.  The gates are closed at 6pm during the season and you may purchase a gate opener when you buy a lot.

What if I want to rent my lot?  Each owner is responsible for renting their own lot. The owner must notify the main office of any renter checking in. There will be a nominal check-in fee due from the renter at time of arrival. For more information inquire at the main office.
